This three-part virtual series, presented by Kari Anderson, walks through what the board owns, what the executive director owns, and where the two are supposed to work together. Across the sessions, we’ll cover the distinction between an individual board member, the full board, and board officers; why onboarding and board culture shape everything that follows; how board and staff each carry a piece of fundraising and development; and the role bylaws, policy manuals, and committees play in dividing the work so it actually gets done.
