Have you made a resolution to management your time better in 2020? Last week, I gave you a few tips for software and tools that I use everyday. There’s more where those came from!

Here are some simple solutions for communication and scheduling that might give you a few extra hours this year.

COMMUNICATE

Zoom – http://bit.ly/2W5W3wt
This is a fabulous video call platform. This eliminates that pesky “*6” on a conference call and actually allows everyone to see your face! When you have board members who need to remote in for a board meeting, or staff members who work off-site, this is a great tool to bring the team together. You can record the video call, just in case you have an absentee who needs to watch the meeting later.

Uber Conferencehttps://www.uberconference.com/
Conference call services. It’s free for up to 10 people, and the call is recordable!

Survey Monkey https://www.surveymonkey.com/
When you need to find out what’s happening on the street, take a poll or compile external data for your strategic plan or get feedback from donors, this is the ticket. You may have just taken my survey that I distributed in December. I used Survey Monkey!

SCHEDULE CONTROL

Acuity Scheduling – https://acuityscheduling.com
I don’t know about you, but it’s a time suck waiting to happen when someone asks, “when can you meet”? Instead, I send them a link to my calendar. They can check out when I’m available and book a time that works for them. The best part is that it’s customizable – you can set up multiple calendars for different types of meetings.

Hootsuite – https://hootsuite.com/
My social media life changed drastically with Hootsuite. This platform published social media content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. I sit down once a week and plug in posts for the platforms I use, hit “schedule” and get back to spending time with my clients- YOU.

What are your favorite platforms that make your life easier? Send me an email or post a message on my Facebook page and then I can publish part 3 of this blog post later this year.
